q: What does photography mean to you?
a: To me photography is like having a third hand or a fourth penis. It is basically an extension of my mind that has been portrayed through a modern day mechanical processes. I am a firm believer that the camera is only a tool in the game of photography, and that anything goes with the most minimal editing. Sure, I started with digital but to me it is film or bust.

q: What are you currently studying? Is it useful?
a: I am studying natural resources and urban forestry at the undergraduate level. I have never been more satisfied by this choice. Understanding how the natural world works turns me on and it is incredibly important to the livelihood of the future. One day I will be planting gardens on rooftops and cutting up city sidewalks for elms.

q: Favorite cereal?
a: Nothing is better than rice chex with a boat of sugar and some fresh Oregon strawberries.

q: Any new music to recommend?
a: I fell off the face of new music after Sasquatch 2010, it is all about Dylan, Reed, and Miller now.
