q: Your pictures seem quite personal and intimate, what are you trying to show with your photographs?
a: I try to show my everyday life. The places and people that are around me. Pictures are my memory, I take them to remember. There are all moments I want to keep and it’s also a way to express myself, to capture feelings, I can only do it this way.

q: What is your series “de luz” about?
a: First I have to say that I have a bit of an obsession with light and this is why I started “de luz”. The series is about shapes of lights interacting with the body, being part of it or just moments where the light itself is the protagonist. It becomes part of reality.

q: New year resolutions?
a: The most important resolution is to travel a lot. I would like to make exercise, finish some projects that have been waiting and of course to take lots of pictures.

q: Any new music to recommend?
a: I’ve been listening to the newest albums of The Album leaf and Panda Bear. Also older stuff from Cocorosie, The Velvet Underground and Jimi Hendrix. I have just “discovered” a girl called Grouper and I think her music is great.
