q: How’s life in Berlin?
a: Yesterday life was hot and sunny. Now it is rainy and moody. Tomorrow comes as a surprise.
q: Which artist or creatives inspire you?
a: My love for color and light got stronger through Akif Hakan Celebi. His work really got me. The other artist I follow for years now is Nirrimi. her whole life is so vivid in any way. Her photographs make me believe more in myself. Ayn Rand for her great words in ‘The Fountainhead’. There are a few more wonderful minds but I will keep them secret.
q: Seen any good films lately?
a: ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ was great. Films I like to watch more than once and can think of spontaneously are ‘The Edukators’, ‘Blade Runner’, ‘Lost in Translation’, ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and ‘Into the Wild’.
q: Any music to recommend?
a: Music easily gets on my nerves and I have a hard time finding good music I can listen to during the day. I really enjoy the background noises and voices in everyday life. At nightime I love to dance to electronic music in clubs for hours and hours. ‘The Kills’ are my fave band.
