q: You seem to have travelled quite a bit. What is your favorite city and why?
a: I like big cities and Stockholm is the next on my list, but I almost never plan my travelling around cities, it is more about nature. I love mountains, forests and snow.

My favourite place by far is Iceland (eventhough there are no forests.). The nature there is just breathtaking and the light changes every few minutes (which can be very challenging for a photographer). There is something mystic about this place that I can`t describe, it`s intriguing.

q: Your pictures seem to be rather colorless and it tends to create a certain mood. Is this intentional?
a: When I am taking pictures for a project I usually always have a moodboard in my mind. I am a pretty big nurd when it comes to editing and composing, that`s why I like to work conceptual but the mood is more intuitive. I don`t have to think about it too much. It`s kind of “just there”.

q: What do you do in your free time? Any interesting hobbies?
a: Photography is pretty much it. I am taking and thinking about pictures most of the time, but when I really want to get my mind off and just relax I usually watch some funny series or go to the zoo. I love to watch animals. They´re always up for a surprise. Besides that I LOVE nature (obviously), so I try to travel as much as possible.

q: Photographic equipment?
a: Puh I own so many different cameras. I have the 5DMarkII and lenses from Canon which I use most of the time, but I also like to shoot analogue sometimes. For that I have a Rolleiflex, a Yashica, few polaroid cameras, and some toy cameras.

q: Any music to recommend?
a: I always struggle with this question, because it really depends on my mood which music I prefer. My all time favourites are Radiohead. They are genius.

But I also like Bon Iver, the XX, Joy Division, Crystal Castles, Duft Punk, Sonic Youth, Patrick Watson, Timber Timbre and James Vincent McMorrow (to name a few).
