q: Favorite photographers?
a: Cecil Beaton, Annie Leibovitz, Hedi Slimane, but I’m definitely more captivated by their more private, diary-type images than their fashion/beauty photographs. I love seeing other peoples photographs and being able to peer into a portion of their life, or into their personalities, to be revealed something a bit more meaningful than just a pretty face or piece of clothing. Yet I’m still partial to well executed editorials! Some of my favourite photographers are ones I’ve discovered online, especially through blogs, who post photo diaries of their lives.
q: Left-handed or right-handed?
a: Right-handed, nothing special here!
q: What’s your favorite dinosaur?
a: I couldn’t choose my favourite so I asked my friend to answer this for me, he likes puns and his answer was ‘Tyrannosaurs Sex’.
q: Any new music to recommend?
a: I’m currently cruising to Moon Safari by Air which is hardly new but is always lovely. The Antlers new album Burst Apart is definitely worth a good listen. And because I can, listen to my boyfriends band Menagerie, self-described as psychedelic-french-folk and filled with those nice nostalgic feelings bedroom recordings capture.
