q: Where’re you from and how old are you?
a: I’m from Ferndale, MI and I’m 17.
q: What got you into photography?
a: When I was a little kid my dad let me use one of his old 35mm cameras and I would just go around with it shooting everything I did. Every time I Developed a roll of film and got it back I would get super pissed about how normal and boring all the pictures looked and I just kept shooting and trying to make all these average situations that I was in at the time look as weird and exaggerated as I could. I guess I just wanted to make boring stuff look cool. Hopefully that didn’t sound too pretentious.
